Floating suction units are designed to draw product from near liquid level. This is to
ensure clean product is drawn out at all times. This is very important for applications
like Jet-A fuel tanks and fuel tanks for sensitive equipment like power plant
generators.
The TankMaster© range of floating suction units are individually designed to suit
each application. They can be made in carbon steel, aluminum or stainless steel.
In a tall tank, a double swing joints may be required to achieve the desired operating
height.
Skimmer units are designed to draw liquid at a pre-determined level below a product
level. This is to ensure that oil or environmentally detrimental by-products of a processthat float on a product level are skimmed off before the content of the tank is discharged.
